Solving productivity issues has always been our strength – right from the start of our family business in 1973. “How can we make manufacturing processes more efficient?” was a question founder Bart van Ruth regularly asked himself. In our early years as an engineering company, we developed a range of machines for automating production processes which, until then, were mostly done manually. This resulted in our first CNC machine in the early 1980s. That moment, together with the introduction of that machine in the German market via an agent, proved to be the inspiration we needed to take our company to the next level.

It’s our approach to your problem that makes us different in our market sector. Our starting point for improving your productivity is not our CNC machines, but it’s always your specific product and how difficult that is to manufacture.
Together we look at how we can make the machining operations in your process as efficient and inexpensive as possible. We look at what you currently manufacture and how you can benefit from our knowledge and expertise to do it better in the future. We then deliver the optimal solution for you in the form of a CNC machine.

Wide range of CNC machines.

To tackle common production challenges in sectors such as energy, logistics and machine construction, over the years we have developed our own wide range of machines. These include standard and dedicated machines which we can use to achieve your desired manufacturing improvements. We also offer tailor-made packages of tools, clamping equipment or machining software.

We prove it

The lowest cost per product: that’s our firm promise to you. We conduct a time analysis on which we can base our promise, which we will back up in a demonstration, if the opportunity arises. During a demo at our site, we will show you which productivity improvements we suggest for your production process. And we can do this, because we use our own CNC machines to manufacture parts for the machines we supply.

The Unisign people

We maintain high product quality because we work with our own people; we don’t engage third parties. We produce 90% of what goes into a Unisign machine ourselves. And that also applies to all the stages our products go through. From development, engineering and design, to installation and our worldwide service network: Unisign people do it. And this is why we know our machines inside out, and we can use our own user experience to make them even better.

We have established a world leading position in front axle machining. Truck manufacturers and suppliers use our UNITWIN CNC machine to produce more than 2 million front axles every year.

For the complex rear axle machining we also have a dedicated solution: our UNIAXLE. With this new CNC machine you can machine cast iron as well as steel welded rear axles to the greatest precision, in the shortest possible time, all in a single setup.

For everything from bogies to wheels and weld preparation to wheel carrier machining, Unisign has highly versatile machines like the Uniport6000 and Uniport7000. Heavy duty turning, milling and drilling characterises the production of components for energy-producing equipment like (wind) turbines. So you need a CNC machine that can take the load. A mill-turn machining centre like the Unicom6000, Unicom7000 and the Uniport7000-MTC or a multi-functional Uniport6000 and Uniport7000 are the ideal solution for producing these demanding parts.

Pumps and valves for the oil & gas industry can be highly complex parts to produce with seals, gaskets, flanges and requirements like spiral grooves and elliptical conical eccentric turning.
