Benefits
Quick payback
The UNIPORT6000 with its high-torque gearbox and a host of time-saving features is a truly productive machining centre. Able to handle multiple operations in a compact footprint, this high-uptime machine offers a really excellent ROI. Manufacturers agree that this CNC machine is in a class of its own.
High usability
Featuring a powerful, gearbox-driven spindle with up to a 1000 Nm torque and a choice of right angle and universal heads, this CNC machine can take on just about any large component challenge. With automatic exchange of heads and tools (up to 200 tool pockets!) and the option to integrate a carousel turning station in the machine bed, this machine is renowned for its high usability.
Easy access
When the UNIPORT6000 machine is built into the factory floor, it’s easy for operators to step onto the table to change clamps and workpieces. The work area is flexible too, with the option to use the entire area for one large piece, or to adopt pendulum machining with the two stations separated by a screen.

Customer quotes
Our primary reason for selecting Unisign was the quick cycle times of the UNIPORT6000 and the expertise of their team in machining bogie frames.
Assistant General Manager - Medha Servo Drives - India
Our longstanding partnership with Unisign was the key reason behind our decision to purchase the UNIPORT6000.
Mr. Bauriedl - AMA Anlagen- und Maschinenbau Amberg GmbH - Germany
The level of service we receive from Unisign has always been good. Unisign’s ability to provide spare parts was actually a key factor in our decision to order our new CNC machines.
Mr. Dohnalek - BMA Braunschweigische Maschinenbauanstalt AG - Germany
Our working relationship with Unisign is something we are very happy with. From submitting the order and constructing the machine to accepting the finished product – the entire customer journey takes place in a pleasant and personal way.
Mrs. Herzmoneit - Gontermann & Simon - Germany
The machines are excellent value for money, are also easy to operate and the ergonomics are good too. Our operators enjoy working with them. And Unisign is not very far from us, which is also practical and efficient for servicing and maintenance.
Mr. Adam de Rooy - De Rooy Slijpcentrum - The Netherlands
Purchasing the UNIPORT6000 was a large technological leap forward for us. The time taken to machine a bogie is now 5 hours per bogie, down from 120 hours previous when using older, conventional machines.
Mr. David Hubbert - Hofmann Engineering - Australia
In the past, it used to take us four hours to process some parts, now we can do the job in just one hour. It’s a reliable machine which helps us save time and money. What’s more, our people can work much more efficiently.
Mr. Tomáš Ticháček - STT Servis - Czech Republic

We have established a world leading position in front axle machining. Truck manufacturers and suppliers use our UNITWIN CNC machine to produce more than 2 million front axles every year.
For everything from bogies to wheels and weld preparation to wheel carrier machining, Unisign has highly versatile machines like the Uniport6000 and Uniport7000. These gantry style machining centres are part of the machine tool program that have been designed to deliver extremely high capacity, dynamics, rapid acceleration and offer a generous working area.
Heavy duty turning, milling and drilling characterises the production of components for energy-producing equipment like (wind) turbines. So you need a CNC machine that can take the load. A mill-turn machining centre like the Unicom6000, Unicom7000 and the Uniport7000-MTC or a multi-functional Uniport6000 and Uniport7000 are the ideal solution for producing these demanding parts.
Pumps and valves for the oil & gas industry can be highly complex parts to produce with seals, gaskets, flanges and requirements like spiral grooves and elliptical conical eccentric turning. The machining centres from Unisign, with their high degree of automation and specially designed software, are a unique solution capable of milling parts that others cannot.
At Unisign we understand that our customers don’t just buy a CNC machine, they buy a process. And price per part is key. So for general applications we offer high torque machines with high material removal rates, including 5-axis and 5-sided machining and a choice of moving table or palletized, depending on the footprint available.
