Unisign will supply a Uniport 6000 HV machine with carousel turning table to ÖSWAG in Austria. ÖSWAG Maschinenbau located in Linz on the Danube is a sister company from ÖSWAG Werft Linz and specializes in subcontracting for general machining. Their strength is assembling customer specific machines, machining of large parts with highest accuracy and machining of complex one-off components for various customers in this industry.
Great flexibility desired
As a subcontractor in machining for various companies in all types of industries, ÖSWAG requires greatest flexibility, capacity and capability in milling and turning, allowing them to handle all machining tasks and at lowest possible cost.
Unique solution
The Uniport 6000-HV with carousel turning table for ÖSWAG is equipped with a 5 axis machining head to allow the customer to produce at all angles and shapes. The carousel turning station makes the machine even more flexible and perfectly suits ÖSWAG in its capabilities.
The Uniport 6000 HV has a large capacity in both milling and turning with a spindle running at 73 kW, 7.000 rpm and 700 Nm and step less orientation in ± 100°. The carousel turning station has a capacity 70 kW, 250 rpm and 33.000 Nm.
This flexibility allows ÖSWAG Maschinenbau to take on almost any components and machining tasks and combining this with producing them at lowest possible cost per piece. With this new investment, ÖSWAG will have a short Return-on-Investment and further improve its competitiveness in the market.
