Truck front axles machining at RABA

Ready for action! Our customer RABA in Hungary can start machining truck front axles on their Unitwin 6000. Commissioning and start-up of this dedicated CNC machine was successfully completed last week.

Tension-free clamping

Modern front axles are more demanding and the machining force for machining remains high. That makes this process extremely complex. Tension-free clamping is the key to success and largely determines the product quality and the accuracy of the operations. As one of the few, Unisign has succeeded in fully mastering this process and translating it into a unique CNC machining centre: the Unitwin 6000.

Reduced cycle times

The Unitwin 6000 enables Rába to reduce its cycle times with approximately 50%, bringing the cost per component down with more than 30%.
