UNISIGN Partner in Productivity, AMB 2018 – Hall 9, Stand D52

Also in the 45th anniversary year, UNISIGN will be exhibiting during the AMB 2018 in Stuttgart (18 – 22 September).

Fitting with its ever growing market position, UNISIGN will be taking a prominent position. This time the emphasis will be on large gantry machines with exchangeable machining heads.

UNISIGN builds machine tools with reliable “state of the art” technology, high dynamics, flexibility and capacity with the ultimate goal to allow customers to supply their products in a competitive manner. The large expertise with CNC machines, product handling, design and assembly from fixtures to complex FMS and custom-made solutions to suit individual requirements, make UNISIGN machines ideally suited for nearly all manufacturing tasks.

– UNISIGN UNIPORT 6000

Representing the latest generation of UNISIGN gantry machining centres, UNIPORT 6000 combines powerful machining capabilities, highly dynamical machine features and highest product accuracy. Size does matter as this machine can be built from relative small dimensions to very large; currently Unisign builds a 28 metre machining centre for producing machine frames in pendulum set-up.

The UNIPORT 6000 lends its flexibility not solely but importantly on the exchangeable machining heads; from right angular to universal, compact or other customer specific machining heads. The capacity of each machining head is most often identical to the main spindle, creating enormous power stability. The machine shown on the AMB incorporates a right angular head, a universal head, a compact right angular head and a dedicated product related head and all of them are stored in the dedicated pick-up station in the column of the machine.

The basic specifications of the UNIPORT 6000 are:

The machine can also be supplied in the following configurations:
– Raised guideways
– Incorporated carousel turning station
– Pallet changer
– Single or double table configuration

Besides the machines on exhibit, UNISIGN has a complete product portfolio of high precision machining centres. The UNIPORT machines are available in various sizes in various configurations. The UNICOM is available as 4- or 5-axes CNC machining centre for combined milling, drilling and vertical turning operations and is equipped with a pallet changer. The UNIVERS and UNIPRO are moving column machines with respectively high power/torque or high dynamics. Finally we have our dedicated solutions for various industries such as Aerospace, Truck and Energy market.
