Dynamic 5-axis machining

The UNIPORT6000-OG-HV is a top-guided or high raised gantry CNC machining centre and an ideal choice for multi-sided and full 5-axis manufacturing of large components. Workpiece clamping is less demanding, as the HV machining head compensates for precise alignment, allowing for faster setup times and ultimately delivering higher output.

Benefits

Versatile 5-axis machining

The UNIPORT6000-OG-HV is equipped with a highly flexible 2-axis nutator head, allowing the spindle to tilt up to 100° in both directions. This wide range of motion enables precise and complex machining from any angle and orientation, making it ideal for challenging 5-axis tasks across multiple sectors. The machine configuration is ideal for the machining of large welded fabrications and castings or even high speed aluminium cutting.

Generous work area

Despite its compact portal structure, the UNIPORT6000-OG-HV provides an extensive horizontal and vertical workspace, allowing for the processing of very large parts. For easy loading of oversized workpieces, the machine’s roof can slide back, allowing direct crane access for overhead loading. This crane-loading capability makes it particularly suitable for industries like energy and transportation, where handling large components is essential.

Efficient changeover and optimal visibility

The machine’s low table entry height makes loading and unloading workpieces easy and ergonomic. Large viewing windows and integrated camera monitoring provide operators with clear visibility of machining processes, enhancing control and oversight during operation.

Heavy duty turning, milling and drilling characterises the production of components for energy-producing equipment like (wind) turbines. So you need a CNC machine that can take the load. A mill-turn machining centre like the Unicom6000, Unicom7000 and the Uniport7000-MTC or a multi-functional Uniport6000 and Uniport7000 are the ideal solution for producing these demanding parts.

Pumps and valves for the oil & gas industry can be highly complex parts to produce with seals, gaskets, flanges and requirements like spiral grooves and elliptical conical eccentric turning. The machining centres from Unisign, with their high degree of automation and specially designed software, are a unique solution capable of milling parts that others cannot.

At Unisign we understand that our customers don’t just buy a CNC machine, they buy a process. And price per part is key. So for general applications we offer high torque machines with high material removal rates, including 5-axis and 5-sided machining and a choice of moving table or palletized, depending on the footprint available.
