Refundable deposit for shipments of measuring equipment outside the EU
Why do we require a deposit?
When we ship measuring instruments and auxiliary tools to destinations outside the European Union, customs procedures apply. To encourage the timely return of this equipment and maintain its availability for future geometry check projects, Unisign charges a refundable deposit for all shipments to destinations outside the EU.
How does it work?
Unisign adds the deposit to the sales order before shipping the equipment. Customers pay the deposit before shipment. The deposit serves as a security measure while the equipment remains at the customer’s location.
How do you receive your refund
After you return the measuring instruments and/or tools, Unisign inspects the equipment for completeness and condition. Once the inspection confirms that everything is in order, Unisign refunds the full deposit amount.
